General information and highlights:

  • It was my first backpacking unsupported trekking to a part of the Carpathians of Ukraine: the Chornohora mountains.
  • Around 10 days in total, in early September 2008.
  • We climbed the highest peak (Hoverla, 2061 m) and got lost in these beautiful mountains.
  • Lots of crazy stories due to an almost complete lack of any mountaineering experience 🙂
